Passengers can travel to Rijeka and Pula in regular trains. For more information, please visit prodaja.hzpp.hr.
Tickets can be purchased at HZPP ticket offices and at Tisak kiosks with a 40% discount or online (online tickets are 10% cheaper than tickets bought at the counter). Seat reservations are required in both day and night trains and cost 1.06 EUR.
The special offer is not valid for travel shorter than 25 km.
Night train passengers may purchase tickets for seating cars or sleeping cars. Sleeping car surcharges are as follows:
Sleeping car tickets are purchased at ticket offices. If passengers cannot visit the ticket office in person, they may request a reservation via mail rezervacije@hzpp.hr at least 48 hours before departure. The request should include the date and route, number of passengers, and train number. If traveling on a night train, specify whether it’s a seating or sleeping car, and the desired compartment type (single, double, or triple bed). An invoice will be emailed, and upon payment, passengers will receive a ticket that can be printed or shown on a mobile device.

Passengers purchasing tickets online for the Split – Vinkovci/Vukovar route and intermediate stations along this route must select train 1881, carriages 3, 4, and 5 for the Split – Zagreb Main Station (Zagreb GK) section.
Due to technical issues with online ticket sales, incorrect connections are currently being displayed (instead of trains 1881/741, trains 1881/2609/2912 are shown daily). Additionally, for the Vukovar – Split route on Sundays, an incorrect connection is displayed (instead of train 748, trains 2905/748 are shown).
Train 748 (Zagreb 00:57 – Split 08:56) is shown on the Vinkovci – Zagreb – Split route and will operate on Sundays/Mondays from June 29/30, 2025, on the Vukovar – Zagreb – Split route.
Train 741 will operate on the Zagreb – Vukovar route from June 30 to August 31, 2025.
Efforts are being made to resolve these issues, and passengers are kindly asked for their understanding.
Children, school pupils, university students, pensioners, and seniors over 65 travel free of charge upon presenting a smart card. Seat reservation of 1.06 EUR is still required for both day and night trains. In night trains, sleeping car surcharges apply for these categories.
In day trains IC 520 and IC 523, bicycles can be transported in designated bike cars (10 spaces available).
In other daytime and nighttime trains, only foldable bicycles that are transported as hand luggage may be carried.
