Switzerland's largest city, Zurich, is located at the northwestern end of lake Zurich, by the Limmat river. You can start your city walk on the cobbled streets of the Old Town. You'll find more than 50 museums and 100 art galleries in the city, including the Kunsthaus Zurich, the Rietberg Museum which features works from China, India and Africa, and the Swiss National Museum in a Gothic castle. If you're not into art, you can explore designer shops on Bahnhofstrasse or take your youngsters to visit the zoo, which features an elephant park, penguin parade, and Madagascar pavilion. From the city, you can take a train to Mount Uetliberg to enjoy the views.

From Zagreb, you can travel in a coach with seats, a couchette car or a sleeping car.
Passengers travelling in a sleeping car or a couchette car are served breakfast in the morning, which is included in the ticket price.

You can buy transport and reservation tickets at the HŽPP international ticket offices, www.international-bahn.de and www.nightjet.com. We recommend that you buy your tickets in advance at the international ticket offices. Tickets to the border station can only be purchased at the full price on the train. Tickets with special offers cannot be purchased on the train.
