Maribor

The oldest grapevine in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records, excellent shopping opportunities, an active vacation on Pohorje, a walk along one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe and a rich history are just some of the reasons why you should spend a weekend in Maribor. Be sure to visit Lent, the oldest part of the city, or visit Europe's oldest wine cellar, and if you're an adventurous person, take a raft ride down the Drava River or choose a carriage ride around town with your youngsters.
